Absolutely bog standard. When I bought Katy for 350 pounds she was in an uncared for state. Her speedo didn't work, there was plenty of surface rust, not enough air in her tyres, and her interior smelt rather 'musty'. Engine wise, however, she was, under the 2 inches of caked oil & filth, in perfect working order.

As you can see, I've started to repaint Katy a rather fetching shade of yellow - the horrible brown will not be there too long! The yellow paint is, believe it or not, Hammerite Smooth Finish. It won't rust & each wing costs only 9 pounds! |

Tender loving care and plenty of blood, sweat & tears, later Katy is now my pride & joy. She's still a long way from being completed, she's driven almost every day to work & back; but tinkered with daily. But as I have little spare time to work on her, little cash to spend on her, & the great British weather to contend with, she's a long term project in every sense of the word. |
