re-shelled 1972 tax exempt mini. rebuilt by a Mini specialist and was re-shelled into a a competition shell, 1000miles since rebuild. The shell has a steel lead loaded(!)flip-front which is a work of art. All the seams have been removed and lead loaded including the bumper mounts but the roof gutter remains. Sports pack wheel arches have been grafted and smoothed into the body. The bulkhead has a recess so a webber carb can be fitted. It has a cooper grill and bullet door mirrors. It has been sprayed in a custom mix of paint with a diamond white roof to give it a cooper look. The chassis is set up for hill climbing/sprinting with negative camber and and is fully adjustable. It has AVO adjustable gas shocks and adjustable height suspension. Vented disks are fitted with cooper calipers which are fitted with stainless steel brake lines. Light weight minifin drums are fitted to the rear. the engine is a 998 A+ fitted with a lcb and stainless steel exhaust but is nippy and fun to drive. It has a quickshift unit fitted to the transmission. The interior is still basic apart from cooper dials, mountney steering wheel and astra GTE seats and a rear roll cage. The wheels are 7x13" superlites fitted with yokohama tyres with lockable nuts.
