Comments: Mini 40 Limited Edition was introduced at Mini@40 at Silverstone in 1999. The modell is an official anniversary edition, and was produced in limited numbers. Only 250 cars were made in England, in the colors Long Island Blue, Mulberry Red and Old English White. The export version (i.e. those produced for the German market) came in British Racing Green, Black, Platinum Silver and Tahiti Blue. The green and blue ones also had optional factory fitted electric sunroof. My car, which is a Platinum Silver one, was imported from Germany in february 2002. Originally it had sportspack arches and 6x13 sportspack alloys. However, from the very first moment I got the car, I started doing minor modifications and last winter I decided to fit a Zeemax bodykit. The above photos were snapped late March 2003, and shows the final result of this winters restoration project.
