When I bought it, the original 1100 was already replaced by a 1000A+ and it was resprayed from brown to green. On the back of the car a woody-kit had been mounted and it has been functioning as a billboard for at least five years. From eye-whitnesses I heard it used to look quite nice, but it had been neglected all the time untill it was brought to the scrap-yard. A friend of mine bought it there and I bought it from him.

It will undergo some changes in the near future: it's going to be matt-black (STEALTH-technology :) and the wood will be partly replaced and partly refurbished. The engine will stay the same but the seats, wiring loom, dash and all small bits and pieces will be tranfered when the the HoLy smokE gets binned.
Changes untill now are moving the battery under the bonnet, a gas-spring to hold up the bonnet and internal bonnet release. |

It needed some technical work (clutch plate and cilinders, suspension rubbers, brake hoses plus one brakeline and a fuel line plus hoses) and a lot of bodywork (doors, a-panels, new front floors left and right, pieces of inner sills, new outer sills, one upper sill and one quarter panel repair plate and a lot of small sheet metal repair plate for the roof, quarter panels, wheel arches, inner wings, rear floor and lots more). The seats have been recovered in black and it now has black carpets. It's now almost ready for his MOT (in Dutch: APK). |
