Comments:	I've just turned 17, but I've owned the Mini since I was 15. It's still not quite road worthy (I think all projects take longer than anticipated) but it's very close. I haven't really done too much to it though. There's no performance mods yet because of insurance costs, but I've done little low budget alterations to the outside to make it suit my tastes a bit better. As well as sorting out all the rust, I've stripped the paint off the grille (which worked really well and it looks just like a new chrome one), and replaced the nasty plastic spats with some rather more tasteful chrome side stips. Other than that, it's pretty standard, but it's still been good fun for my first project. Now I can't wait to get it on the road and drive it, as well as doing some more modifications.
