Terry Hurd built with 105bhp at flywheel approx 12yrs ago. STG4 HEAD; lightened and balanced 'S' rockers, ARP con rods and studs, X drilled billet 296 cam, 37mm inlet, 31mm exhaust valves, ported and polished, bronze guides, 45 Weber etc. BLOCK; offset ground, knife edged, wedged crank, centre main strap, omega pistons, uprated oil and water pumps, centre pickup pipe, vernier belt drive conversion etc. BOX; ultralite flywheel and backplate, paddle clutch, JK straight cut gears, centre pickup pipe etc.

This was fully deseamed using a brand new shell 12yrs ago by previous owner. It was painted firstly in Turquoise then approx 3yrs ago to its present colour Merc ALMANDINSCHWARZ, a lovely rich, deep purple/aubergine with a flick of red/blue pearl. This vehicle still has less than 10,000 miles since its full resto!!! The vehicle was rebuilt using 85% new parts incl. doors, boot, bonnet, windows, original 'S' tanks, 'S' brakes, remote servo. Since buying vehicle I have personalised it a little with the following; replaced beam axle and coilovers with subframe, Hi-Lo's, Gaz adjustables, 13x7 gold insert superlites (with 1 off alloy centres, many thanx 2 Steef Porta), sportpack arches, black perspex windows all round, exterior chrome accessories, Corbeau recliners, recovered rear seats, alloy door furniture, chrome interior accessories, colour coded Rover dash, black headlining, 3 point harnesses, personalised bossed steering wheel (fanx Steef). THIS MINI IS SERIOUSLY QUICK, NOT FOR THE FAINTHEARTED OR DREAMERS. IT REVS TO NEARLY 8,000rpm. I HAVE BEEN CLOCKED AT 110mph, AND WHILST PULLING MY TRAILER AT OVER 95mph!!! AND ENGINE IS STILL MUCH QUIETER, RELIABLE THAN MANY STANDARD CARS. |

Also has a tow bar fitted that pulls, LEMMUN SKWEEZEE, a rear end of an estate!!! This has now been modyfied and painted to match my new Mini, with sportpack arches, 13X7 superlites. Big fanx to Big Bro' Graham for all his help with the painting, and moddin'.
Just when u see anuvva projekt and want 2 sell up 2 finance it, fings go wrong! So just had dizzy and a driveshaft replaced. VIEWING HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Trailer can be purchased separately. |
