WHEELS: Mercury 6Jx10 Alloys with Camac 165/70 tyres.
BRAKES: Cooper S 7.5" Disc Brakes (front), standard rear drums.
BODY: De-seamed (except gutter), de-seamed bumpers, rear valance removed, custom flat boot floor, home-made weld-in internal siffening members, Modified Safety Devices bolt-in cage (but welded-in), bulkhead brought further into cabin, complete steel 2 piece removable front end, Mk1 rear light plates welded on, some internal metal cut off (e.g. door bins), sprayed in Rover Trophy Blue with Black roof and black Group 5 arches.

This project is not yet finished, but all required parts except for the Cooper S brakes, custom vinyl-covered door cards, Hi-Los, racing harnesses and the Metro Turbo Dash have been bought or made.
The car is currently not sprayed ion the new colours and is covered in red oxide (rust-preventing primer). |
