HUGE! It is a 1977 mini 1000 as it started in the original java Green .But that all changed when I put the following on it!!! ENGINE:- A+ 1275 bored to 1330cc, cooper "S" slipper pistons, Kent 286 camshaft, duplex timing chain, lightened and balanced flywheel , Charles Gracewood stage 2 head 11 stud , high lift rockers ,turbo oil pump, 1.75 brand new SU carb k&n filter, maniflow manifold to a straight though exhaust system with twin DTM pipe. GEARBOX: - MG Metro turbo box with straight cut gears runs a 3.1:1 diff and has central oil pick up pipe. BRAKES: - Metro turbo front discs machine down to fit 10" alloys and Modified 4 pot calipers, EBC pads .on the rear I have Coopers rear drums. SUSPENSION:- AVO adjustable dampers front and back, Hi-Low also front and rear, 1.5 and camber front arms and adj tie bars running on all nylon bushes and adjustable camber brackets on rear arms WHEELS AND TYRES:-6.25 X 10" X 5 in a three piece Force Racing Components Alloys running on yoko 165x71xR10. INTERIOR: - Ford RS Turbo Recaro front seats but managed to find to left hands because of lifting handle passenger being able to lift driver’s seat when needed? But seat are all retrimed with matching vinyl as exterior colours of car so green in the centre and black leather sides with matching rear seats. Re trimmed all four door cards with green stripe. Because I have center Speedo I have trimmed panels either side of Speedo ,I have made my own center console and trimmed the same way ,smiths rev counter in center of the wheel, full roll cage also painted java green, Luke tree point harnesses , rear seat belts ,black headlining ,momo steering wheel and gear knob, battery kill switch mounted in boot for safety, Sony head unit, speakers mounted in one off door pods, 10s tack cd sounds great but the car sound better so don’t really use it. EXTERIOR: - Restored 1977 shell, Mk 1 grille and matching bonnet witch is de badge and Mk1 rear lights conversion, chrome boots and door handles stainless bumper, with over riders , bonnet straps, bullet door mirrors. And hundreds of hours on the painted chequered roof in a shad of darker green. ..THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ AND JUST REMENBER LIFE IS FOR LIVING!!!! NOT WISHING.

The Car was featured in Mini World January 2005 pages 6 to 10 since the photos I have rebuilt the engine and respired all of the engine bay also re rooting and sorting all the wires . I have fitted all new brakes and components and renewed the dash rail with a one of trim matching dash rail. I have done all of this because I had nothing else to do to the car you could say I have finished it But Then again nothing is ever finished.... BUT I WOULD SELL IT AT THE RIGHT PRICE £££££££££ AND START AGAIN BECAUSE IT IS SO MUCH FUN TO DO. |
